Our Volunteer Activities are OPEN! We invite group and individual volunteers to join in on construction and ReStore opportunities.
Without our amazing volunteers, West Volusia Habitat wouldn’t exist. Every volunteer who walks onto a construction site, into our ReStores, or into a committee meeting, officially becomes a part of the West Volusia Habitat family, working towards a community where everyone has a decent place to live. We are always accepting new volunteers! Whether you are volunteering as an individual, with coworkers, or to fulfill community service hours, we are thankful for your help and support to make the dream of homeownership a reality for so many in your community.
Construction volunteer opportunities consist of working to help build homes in Volusia County.
No construction experience is expected or required, just a willingness to work hard and to learn
Typical volunteer activities at The Habitat ReStore include indoor/outdoor reorganization, merchandising (i.e. restocking, product consolidation), and moving items onto the floor. Some heavy lifting may be necessary but you will not be asked to lift more than you are able to.
